San Diego BSD User Group

This list is a place for the users of San Diego that use FreeBSD, OpenBSD, or NetBSD. One of its purposes is to share ideas, methods, and setups with other users that are in our location. Currently the list is open for any discussion.

San Diego Continuing Ed

The mission of San Diego Continuing Education is to provide lifelong learning opportunities so that the members of our diverse communities can achieve their education goals. The San Diego Community College District North City Campus offers free training in a variety of IT disciplines.

San Diego Information Systems Security Association

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is an international organization providing educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skills, and professionalism of its members. The primary goal of ISSA is to promote management practices that will ensure availability, integrity, and confidentiality of organizational resources.

San Diego IT Directors Group

IT Managers, IT Directors, CIOs, and CTOs whose goal is to establish a peer network to help us grow our own skills, share our successes and failures, and – most importantly – to better the IT infrastructure, personnel, and service within individual companies.

San Diego Network Professional Association

The SDNPA is one of the few places where network professionals can join together, network, and learn about multiple OS platforms, competing technologies, and products from divergent sources. The NPA is supported by membership dues and the corporate donations of co-market and competitive companies alike. NPA is not reliant on nor directed by any particular company, technology, or product. Chapters and members are free to explore the complexities of mixing together disparate technologies by point, counterpoint, and competitive review.

San Diego Network Users Association

SDNUA is the San Diego Network Users Association, an independent non-profit group of network professionals based in San Diego, California. SDNUA meets on the fourth Thursday of every month to discuss leading technology issues. Regular meetings of SDNUA are open to the public and networking professionals are invited to attend.

San Diego Small Business Server Partner Group (North County)

The San Diego Small Business Server Partners, in operation since 2001.

San Diego Windows 2003 User Group

The San Diego Windows 2003 User Group is a non-profit, Microsoft-recognized association dedicated to bringing people together to share information on servers, networks, and any related technologies. The group shares a popular list server and holds monthly meetings. The group currently has over 300 members of varying skill levels and experience.

Windows Networking Solutions User Group (San Marcos)

WiNSUG’s mission is to provide forums, virtual and physical, for collaborating on product knowledge and business development of Microsoft Windows networking and server solutions. WiNSUG fosters communication and cooperation among business professionals who decide, influence, recommend, or maintain the deployment of Information Technology in businesses of all sizes.

Orange County

Orange County Educational Advancement Network

The Orange County Educational Advancement Network, Inc. user group is one of the largest and most pro-active IBM e-Server iSeries Midrange user groups in the western states with over 500 members. Its primary mission is to serve as an affordable educational source on the technology we use through monthly guest speakers and our annual technical conference and seminar. The group is a non-profit corporation and is not sponsored by any vendor including IBM Corporation. Membership is open to anyone interested in learning more about the information technology field. While its primary focus is the IBM iSeries – AS/400 server platform, the group covers other areas like PC LAN/WAN, Linux, WebSphere, Client-Server information systems, JAVA, Object Oriented development, E-Commerce and Data Warehousing / Data Mining, XML, Internet and Intranet applications, IT Project Management, IT management and personal and career development topics as well.

Orange County Linux Users Group

OCLUG is a non-profit, vendor-independent organization of Linux/UNIX users and enthusiasts based in Fullerton, California. The group meets each month to share information, troubleshoot and plan activities.

Orange County .NET Server User Group

The Orange County Exchange User Group (OCEUG), has become the Orange County .NET Server User Group (OCNSUG). The group has expanded its scope to cover all of the .NET Servers products. It focuses on the technologies and use of the .NET Server products and application development with those products.

Southern California IT Professionals Association

Founded in October 1995, and formerly called The Orange County NT User’s Group, the Southern California IT Professionals Association (SoCal IT Pro Assoc.) is dedicated to providing a forum for the Microsoft Windows NT User community for mutual benefit, increased understanding, and better utilization of Windows NT technologies. The group is constantly striving to improve the knowledge of and bring new ideas to this user community by providing opportunities for formal and informal education in Microsoft Windows NT related applications, hardware, and software technologies.

TechBiz Connection

TechBiz Connection, one of the largest technology organizations in Southern California, combines the largest and oldest non-profit Internet organization in Orange County (Association of Internet Professionals) with a broader technology and business focus throughout Southern California. Its purpose is to support Southern California Technology people, companies, and entrepreneurs by providing timely education and networking opportunities. The group focuses on where Technology & Business intersect; everything a successful hi-tech company would want to do.
